The United States consumes approximately 2 billion pallets annually, with around 500 million new pallets manufactured each year. The pallet industry is a $30+ billion market that underpins virtually every supply chain in the country. Wood pallets dominate the market, accounting for approximately 93% of all pallets produced. Their popularity stems from their low cost, repairability, recyclability, and the renewable nature of the raw material.

The pallet recycling industry prevents millions of tons of wood from entering landfills each year. In the US alone, approximately 350 million pallets are recovered and recycled annually. Each recycled pallet saves an estimated 3.1 board feet of lumber, conserving forests and reducing the carbon footprint of supply chains.
